Anti-harassment contact persons

HUMAKO wants to tackle harassment, discrimination and other harassing behaviour and works to eradicate it within Humak and the student union. With the help of anti-harassment contact persons, we want to lower the threshold for reporting harassment that you encounter or experience. Harassment is not limited to fellow students; it may also involve the university of applied sciences staff. It can include racism, bullying, intimidation, gender inequality, inappropriate treatment, discrimination, harassment, inappropriate remarks, defamation, ableism, violence or any behaviour that the person being harassed finds offensive or unpleasant.

The anti-harassment contact persons act as support persons to whom you can report any unequal treatment you encounter or experience. Anti-harassment contact persons are not professionals, but they are there to support students and, if necessary, help them to resolve the harassment incidents. The anti-harassment contact persons are trained by the Student Union and are bound by confidentiality. However, no action will be taken if the person experiencing harassment does not want it.

You should not be left alone if you experience harassment. The anti-harassment contact persons are there to support you.

HUMAKOs anti-harassment contact persons are:

How and who can I contact?

If you have been harassed or have witnessed harassment, please feel free to contact the anti-harassment contact persons.

You can report harassment that you have experienced or encountered to any anti-harassment contact person either by sending an email or by filling in a report form. All anti-harassment contact persons are obliged to follow up on reports made through the form, but you can choose whether to report anonymously or by name and who will respond to your contact.

In all cases, you may report the harassment incident as much as you and in the way you feel appropriate.

Once you have reported the harassment, we will proceed on your terms. Actions taken by the anti-harassment contact person happen with the consent of the reporter.
