We oversee students WhatsApp-groups and organise activities for you in the Jyväskylä region. If you haven’t jouned the group, you can use this link to do so. By joining the group you can get in contact with your new peers and get information about events.

Student Union HUMAKO
The Student Union HUMAKO is open to all Humak students – that means it’s for you, online student! We organise activities on campus and online. Most of our activities are listed in the events calendar. Join us, because we want to meet you!

Sports
Yogobe
As a member of HUMAKO you get access to Yogobe video training (norm 220 € / year). Yogobe offers a wide range of following excercises:
- yoga
- Pilates
- meditation
- movement exercises
- body weight training

Launch of Yogobe’s online yoga service:

Student discounts
Membership of the Student Union HUMAKO is worthwhile, as it gives you a wide range of student discounts and benefits on a variety of services, such as food, drink and student essentials. As a degree student, your HUMAKO membership card also entitles you to local transport, VR, Matkahuolto and Kela student benefits.
As a member, you get student overalls at half price. Sample sizes of overalls will arrive on campus at the beginning of the academic year to try them on.
Asuminen ja kulkeminen kampukselle
Kampuksemme sijaitsee Korpilahdella n. 30 km matkan päässä Jyväskylän keskustasta. Kampuksen osoite on Tähtiniementie 30, 41800 Korpilahti. Kampus on punainen rakennus Alkio-opiston vieressä. Suosittelemme tutoreiden kanssa, että etsit asunnon silti Jyväskylän keskustan lähettyviltä, sillä esimerkiksi moni opiskelijatapahtuma järjestetään keskustassa. Aiempina vuosina moni opiskelija on muuttanut ensin Korpilahdelle ja halunnut kesken opintojen muuttaa lähemmäs Jyväskylän keskustaa. Jyväskylässä opiskelija-asuntoja tarjoaa Keski-Suomen opiskelija-asuntosäätiö KOAS. Asuntohakemuksen KOASille voit jättää saatuasi vahvistuksen opiskelupaikastasi.
Suurin osa opiskelijoistamme liikkuu kampukselle Jyväskylän keskustan lähettyviltä kimppakyydeillä, joten suosittelemmekin sitä parhaaksi liikkumistavaksi. Kohdasta “Hei uusi opiskelija!” löydät tiedot WhatsApp-ryhmiin pääsystä, joista voit kysellä kimppakyytejä. Lisäksi kampukselle pääsee liikkumaan eri puolilta Suomea linja-autoilla. Linja-autolla pääsee Korpilahden keskustaan, josta on n. 10 min kävelymatka kampukselle Päijänteen lahden yli kävelysiltaa pitkin. Matkaa keskustasta kampukselle on n. 1,5 km. Osa Jyväskylän suunnalta lähtevistä linja-autoista tulee suoraan kampukselle. Voit tarkistaa kulkuyhteyksiä (myös tarvittaessa junien aikatauluja, jotta pääset Jyväskylän keskustaan) Matkahuollon, Onnibussin, ja VR:n sivuilta.
